Between a rock and a clean place

Georgia Selfridge, at the corner of Front and Lynch streets, was among the volunteers cleaning up the shrubbery downtown on April 18. They cleared and prepped several of the garden plots for Evergreen Elementary School students to place their hand-painted rocks around the shrubs next month. It's part of getting downtown looking its best for the summer - for visitors and locals alike.
