Will Ashton with Operation Bounce Back started placing socks in various spots throughout town June 16, including the community bulletin board outside of Wrangell IGA. Each sock is filled with an inspirational message ^"to keeping going and moving forward,^" said director Peter Adams. Bounce Back, which is federally funded and run through the Wrangell Cooperative Association, is working to help the community cope with the deadly 2023 landslide. Adams said the socks will be available at various locations throughout the summer. ^"Feel free to take a pair and leave a positive message of your own,^" he said.
