Practicing for the real thing
Devyn Johnson tends to accident victim Peggy Kipp in the April 30 disaster drill at the airport. The training session is held every three years, with the Wrangell Volunteer Fire Department assisting the Alaska Department of Transportation, which operates the crash truck at the state-owned airport. ^"We practice our triage,^" said Anna Allen, the fire department's EMS administrator. About 40 volunteers turned out for the training session.
